Hoek van Holland Strand is a railway station in Hoek van Holland, the Netherlands. The railway station consists of two tracks on a bay platform, and is the final station on the Schiedam–Hoek van Holland railway, the rail connection between Hoek van Holland and Rotterdam. The railway station was opened on June 1, 1893. Its name is derived from the nearby North Sea beach, strand being Dutch for “beach”.
From April to October all trains to Hoek van Holland between 8 am and 9 pm have Hoek van Holland Strand as final destination. These trains operate twice an hour. Trains before 8 am and after 9 pm terminate at Hoek van Holland Haven. From November to March only between 11 am and 4 pm, 1 train an hour calls at Hoek van Holland Strand. The other trains terminate at Hoek van Holland Haven.
